Policy edition: September 25, 2026
This notice separates the current website behavior from the decisions a production operator may make when adding advertising, provider referrals, or analytics. Insurance Plan Guide uses this page to explain the questions a shopper should ask when a quote comes from a lead-generation form.
The current build does not load a third-party advertising tag, display paid placement labels, or claim an exclusive provider appointment. It does load Google Fonts, records a request when the form is used, and may store a short browser session value for the quote reminder.
A production site may receive payment when a submitted request leads to a quote, enrollment, or other provider action. If compensation is received, the paying partner is responsible for it. The site should not add a separate request charge and should not describe a partner price as the only available market price.
A provider paid for prominence should be identified clearly. Payment should not change the accuracy of a policy description, the comparison criteria, or the right to decline a request. Production editorial rules should state who selects, reviews, and approves a listed option.
An initial response is not necessarily the provider's final rate. The issuing company decides eligibility, rating, discounts, forms, and approval using its own review. The shopper should compare official documents and confirm whether a quote is guaranteed, how long it remains usable, and what information can change it.
A trustworthy request should identify the lead-generation business, ask only for information needed to route the topic, show the expected follow-up method, and explain when sensitive details must not be sent. A provider relationship should be named before a shopper is asked to rely on it.
Before launch, the operator should keep a dated record for each advertising or referral relationship, including the payer, role, payment trigger, approval process, and consumer disclosure. The record should be reviewed when a provider relationship or advertising service changes.
Insurance Plan Guide does not promise that a specific provider, rate, discount, policy form, or coverage limit will be available in a particular state. Availability depends on the provider, risk details, location, filing, and current rules.
Ask which organization pays for a referral, when the payment occurs, whether the amount changes the displayed ranking, and which provider issues any final policy. Do not include a policy number, payment-card detail, government identifier, or password in the message.
